    December 12, 2012

Happy Holidays and as I said at the December Pack Meeting - THANK YOU! Thank you for your dedication to your boys and to our Pack.  As the end of 2011 is approaching it seems like the perfect time to reflect on all the blessings we have experienced as individuals and a collective group.  Over the last twelve months of scouting those who have been on their journey for awhile have grown in numerous ways. The Fall recruitment brought new friends and leaders to the Pack.  Whether your one has earned his Bobcat, is working toward rank or was awarded the Arrow of Light, they are all examples of fine young men with amazing potential. Snowflakes and their uniqueness were discussed this month.  Reflecting on each boy and the beautiful snowflakes they made reminds us of how special  each boy is and yet collectively  they can achieve such greatness.  If we have a white Christmas or a snow day in the near future, try to take a moment to allow your son to try and catch a snowflake and make observations.

Some dens may meet next week and others are done until 2012. Please make sure you to take a moment to recognize your leader and give them a heartfelt thank you for their time, care and compassion shown to your child.  May your season be filled with many blessings.
